A real Myst book

This is a project I’ve been working on for six years - a replica linking book from the video game Myst.

Inside the book is a full desktop computer, completely self-contained without any external wires or hardware. In the above photo, the embedded screen isn’t just showing a still photo or a video: it’s running a full copy of real Myst PC edition. On board is a copy of all the Myst games. It’s fast enough it plays all of them smoothly (even End of Ages at ~30fps). You play the games by touching the touch-screen.

Gilbert Nightray - ‘Mourning in the Rain’ by John C. Haddock

This is a painting I did for Ashla for her birthday in July. It is a recreation in watercolours of an image by the japanese artist Jun Mochizuki.

It took about 9 days from blank canvas to finished paining. Its probably the most difficult painting I’ve done to date but I’m so happy how it turned out. ^_^

Custom Final Fantasy Soundtrack covers

Continuing to make more covers for my itunes albums, This week I’m sorting out my Final Fantasy collection. Here are the covers I made for the first 10 games since I can only post 10 pics at a time, covers for the rest will follow later.

Building Gilbert Nightray’s gun from Pandora Hearts…

Part 1 - This is the Base Gun that will be modded into Raven.

Part 2 - Handle removed for shaping and New Hexagonal Gun Barrel Added.

Part 3 - All additional components and details added to bodywork and gaps filled and sanded ready for final paint.

Part 4 - Final Gun after painting and adding of all the decoration details.

I used this for 2 cons for my Gilbert Nightray Cosplay and then gave it to @ryoura as a present. Enjoyed making this, Might make a few more for commissions if there are some Gils out there who want one for their costume.

I made some new covers for my itunes music albums because some of them looked awful and i like to have stuff that looks neat and uniform. so i started by making some custom cover art for all the Tomb Raider Soundtracks I have.
