NCR Ranger Cosplay Photo shoot : AYACON 2011
This was a photo shoot I had done a few months ago but only just found the pictures. As you can see its me in my NCR Ranger cosplay from the game Fallout: New Vegas. I built the costume for the event and spent most of the 3 days in it. The only thing I’m not happy with it the fact that I made the gun slightly too big, the next version will be more to scale. Was one hell of a weekend and it got me featured on Kotaku, Bethesda Blog and Steam News. Good going I think XD

Somehow I’ve only just come to the realization that 90% of the music I listen to are soundtracks to videogames, anime and movies… And this pic only shows a small portion… I need to branch out a bit more… Nah..
Thought I’d post a sneak peak of what went into making the Fallout Cosplay pictures I posted. On the left you can see the original photo and on the right you can see it after I’ve added all the elements to place the NCR Ranger within the Fallout Universe… Well Hoover Dam in this case. These are some of the photoshoot pictures that were taken of my NCR Ranger costume at AyaCon 2011. I took the images into Adobe Photoshop and added all of the dirt and grime to make them look more like the character is actually within the Fallout: New Vegas Universe. there might be a few more but for now here a selection of my favorites.

NCR Ranger Cosplay from AyaCon 2011
This is me dressed in my full NCR Ranger costume at AyaCon 2011, the first time I’ve worn this out to an event. It seemed to go down well and I’m so happy with how it came out.
I’ll upload a few more pics soon from some professional shoots I had over the weekend. Just wanted to share this until then.
Ladies and Sirs, I present my finished ‘AER14 - Prototype Laser Rifle’ from Fallout: New Vegas. I built this to go with The NCR Ranger cosplay I made for Ayacon 2011. This took about a week to build and paint. Enjoy. ^_^
Just finished making the body armour for my NCR Ranger cosplay. It’s all coming together at last, can start on making the jacket tomorrow and then it’s only a few other detail pieces then I can do a final full photo shoot in the costume.
Finally finished my NCR Ranger helmet to go with the mask I built for my Fallout: New Vegas cosplay outfit. It’s really starting to come together. Yayyyyyyy!!!
Finished painting my NCR Ranger mask for my cosplay. Just need to re-add the lights for the eyes from the old mask. Then need to start on modifying the helmet to add the lights and communication mount on the side. Oh and then onto everything else. Work, work, work.
